UEN asks members to submit their school board-approved priorities, as reported to IASB and to other advocacy organizations. Additionally, we like to dig a little deeper into state and federal issues important to member districts. This survey allows individuals or someone reporting on behalf of the whole school board to provide input on suggested UEN priorities and new ideas for the upcoming legislative session. We encourage UEN members to provide their thoughts in the survey linked below on priorities and how UEN can best advocate on behalf of and support member districts.

Summer 2025 Legislative Issues Survey regarding 2026 UEN Priorities

UEN Members, please complete the UEN Summer 2025 Legislative Issues Survey as we prepare priorities for the 2026 Legislative Session. (Responses are due by August 1, 2025, in order to compile results and share with the Legislative Workgroup and Steering Committee to inform their work on priorities.)

The UEN Legislative Workgroup, Superintendents, and staff will use input from your survey responses to create a draft of the priorities for research, presentation, discussion, refinement, and approval at the UEN Steering Committee meeting scheduled each November, and will share background information and advocacy supports at the UEN Annual Dinner each November.
